1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement, and authorized to request work at the service property. Do not use Homefix for unlawful activity, false requests, harassment, interference, credential sharing, scraping, or attempts to bypass security.
2. The Homefix operating model
Homefix is a managed home-service operation, not a public directory where customers independently select and contract with listed professionals. You submit a request to Homefix; our operations team reviews the scope and assigns an internally approved technician. Technician information is provided for identification and service coordination, not as a public marketplace profile.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for accurate information, safeguarding credentials, and promptly reporting unauthorized access. We may suspend access for fraud, threats, nonpayment, misuse, or risks to customers, technicians, or the service. You may delete your account at any time, subject to limited lawful record retention described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Requests are not final appointments
A submitted request is not a guaranteed appointment or final price. Homefix confirms availability, assigned technician, scope, applicable license/permit requirements, appointment window, and price. Estimates may change only when scope, materials, site conditions, taxes, or permit requirements change; material changes require your approval before additional work.
5. Communications and electronic records
You agree to receive electronic records needed for your account and transactions. If you opt into SMS or push updates, Homefix may send booking confirmations, scheduling, arrival, safety, payment, and completion messages. Consent to optional automated marketing is not a condition of purchase. Homefix currently uses customer contact information for operational communications, not third-party marketing.
6. Service rules
The Service, Cancellation & Refund Policy is incorporated into these terms. You must provide safe access, disclose hazards, secure pets, and ensure an adult is present unless Homefix confirms another arrangement. Do not ask a technician to perform unapproved work or pay using instructions not confirmed by Homefix.
7. Emergency limitation
Homefix is not an emergency-response service. For fire, suspected gas leak, electrical arcing, flooding near energized equipment, immediate danger, or a life-safety emergency, leave the area when appropriate and call 911, the utility, or the appropriate emergency authority.
8. Intellectual property and third-party services
The Homefix name, interface, copy, and original materials are protected. Third-party services such as payment, maps, email, and sign-in may have additional terms. Links do not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimers and liability
We work to provide services with reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted digital access or outcomes beyond the confirmed written scope and applicable warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Homefix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
10. Georgia law and disputes
Georgia law governs these terms, without overriding mandatory consumer protections. Please contact Homefix first so we can investigate and attempt a prompt resolution. These terms do not require arbitration or waive a customer’s right to use an appropriate court or government complaint process.
