Internal assignment controls
Before assignment, Homefix operations should document technician identity, applicable training, insurance status, service categories, and current license or qualifying-business information where Georgia law requires it. Expired, suspended, unverified, or scope-mismatched credentials must block assignment to regulated work.
Regulated trades
Georgia regulates electrical contractors, plumbers, conditioned-air contractors, low-voltage contractors, and residential/general contractors. The required license class depends on the scope. Homefix’s catalog name does not determine whether a license or permit is required; the actual work does.
Atlanta permits and inspections
Atlanta provides technical permits for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work, and other cities/counties in the service area have their own rules. When a permit or inspection is required, the assigned qualified party must obtain it before covered work proceeds, and the permit cost/schedule should be disclosed in the quote.
